First Chill of the Year

We do not get too many freezing cold days and nights down here. Winter is extremely short-lived in these parts, so we soak it up every chance we get.

During the first little chill we received, we spent the entire evening out on the back porch

 taking in all the briskness in the air and a bit of  hot cocoa, too.

By the way, if you have a Keurig this is the BEST apple cider ever.

Before it got dark, we ran around, played in the grass, and shouted into the wind.

…and rolled in the grass.

I didn’t have the heart to convert this to B & W because it is straight-out-of-camera and PERFECTION.

No edits. None. I am in awe.

Later in the week Finn had his first trip to the fair and my cousin Atchison rode the bumblebees with him,

along with a few other kiddie rides = lifesaver. :)
